Using examples from public/global health in Africa, we will discuss the need for geospatial (or geographic) data and analysis, and how this can be useful to decision-makers. We'll look at the challenges associated with obtaining and ensuring the quality of these data, and the possible sources for obtaining them. We'll also mention some of the tools needed to manipulate them.
